You climb the Mount Toubkal on a 2-day trek from Marrkech. We explore the High Atlas Mountains’ landscape walking from “Imlil Valley” to Toubkal’s basecamp. You will spend the night in a climbers’ refuge.

CLIMB MOUNT TOUBKAL IN 3 DAYS FROM MARRAKECH

DAY 1: MARRAKECH TO IMLIL - TREK TO TOUBKAL BASE CAMP with “4x4 Morocco” as we organize private and guided treks from Marrakech.

After hotel pick up by an English-speaking driver we head over gorges to the Berber village of Imlil. We set out for a 4 km hike towards the villages Armed and Sidi Chamharouch in the “Ait Maizane Valley”. We take a break for a lunch within amazing view of mighty “Jbel Toubkal”. At over 4167m, Toubkal is the highest peak in the North Africa. Overnight accommodations at the Toubkal Base Camp (3207 m above sea level).

DAY 2: TOUBKAL BASE CAMP - MT TOUBKAL- REFUGE TOUBKAL.

Today we climb up the highest peak in the North Africa, called Mt Toubkal. Afterwards we descend for 3 hour back trek to the Refuge. In the afternoon, you enjoy a gentle hike to the head of the “Assif Ait Maizane Valley” and also Tizi n O'unoums. Overnight accommodation at the Toubkal Base Camp.

DAY 3 : FROM TOUBKAL BASE CAMP TO IMLIL AND TRANSFER TO MARRAKECH.

Today we hike back down to Imlil village and we drive back to Marrakech.
